At least two hundred 57 people were killed in a military plane crash outside Algerian capital Algiers's Bofarik air base.
The information was reported by the state's broadcasting media in Algeria.The plane crashed in the agricultural land adjacent to the airport shortly after landing at 8 am local time on Wednesday. The UK-based press said that there were more than 200 passengers on the Russian-made plane.In an interview with the Algerian ruling party, Inner TV said that hundreds of ambulances and fire service cars have been rescued after the aircraft crashed. The injured were sent to different hospitals in the capital.Qatar-based news al-Jazeera reported that the Ilyis IL-76 military aircraft crashed. All of the crew of the plane are members of the military. It is learned that the plane started its journey to the city of Jerusalem in the west.
