Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal criticized the World Bank's report on the rate of growth.
Expressing anger, he said, nothing is possible in what the World Bank said. They give information based on assumptions.The Planning Minister has released information related to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) recently given by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). It is reported that at the end of this year, the GDP growth will be 7.65 percent.On Monday the World Bank questioned the rate of BBS's growth rate. The organization says there are doubts about growth, which requires analysis. According to the agency, the GDP growth will be 6.5 percent or 6.6 percent by the end of the year.When asked about the immediate reaction of the Planning Minister, he expressed his anger towards the World Bank. He also gave answers to various World Bank questions of journalists at the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Planning Ministry.
