The Election Commission (EC) will begin the appeal hearing on the demand for reconciliation of the parliamentary constituency from April 21.

Election Commission secretary Helaluddin Ahmad told reporters after the meeting on Monday.He said the EC has a plan to publish the final gazette by April 30 after the hearing of the appeal process between April 21 and April 25. The hearing will be held according to the day-long division in the election building.

April 21: Rangpur, Rajshahi, Barisal
April 23: Khulna, Sylhet and Mymensingh
April 24: Chittagong and
April 25: Dhaka Division.

The EC Secretary said that the commission has changed 40 out of 300 parliamentary seats. The balance of the 10th Parliament has been kept in the remaining 260 seats. But the objection petition came in 60 seats.

407 applications have been submitted for the decision to change the limit of 60 seats. The remaining 224 have been advocated for the proposed boundary of the EC.
