The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has demanded that the elections are not centrally-sponsored, public welfare and business-friendly budget proposals.
Supported by the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Morarraf Hossain Bhuiyan said.MCCI made the demand at the pre-budget discussion meeting of the National Board of Revenue in Segunbagicha on Saturday, 2018-19.Chairman of the National Board of Revenue, presided over the discussion meeting, said Morarraf Hossain Bhuiyan. NBR member Kanan Kumar Roy, Firoz Shah Alam, Rezaul Hasan, MCCI Vice-President Golam Mainuddin, MCCI Member Modern Industries Limited (Bangladesh) Limited Managing Director Syed Tarek Ali and Hasan Mahmud were also present.MCCI leaders said that since this election year the government will formulate an election-oriented budget. But we hope the government will really make a budget by focusing on the progress of the country. The budget will be welfare and business-friendly.MCCI leaders said the liquidity crisis is underway in the bank, and the government will have to pay attention to the management of the bank. All banks are currently suffering from liquidity crisis. If the banks do not transit from this situation then they will have to face big problems. So, in this budget, special attention will be given to the bank sector.
