India's captain Virat Kohli reached the milestone in the first match of the IPL.
The IPL is one of the thirteenth matches of the IPL to play as the fourth player in history. Robin Uthappa of Kolkata Knight Riders has reached the milestone of 150 matches in the same match.Virat Kohli made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore at the age of twenty. Since then, he has picked up the jersey of Bengaluru in all the events. Kohli has so far scored 4418 runs in 149 matches, scoring four centuries and 30 half-centuries in the history of the tournament.Another Indian batsman, Suresh Raina, is at the top with more than 4544 runs in 12 matches. Though Kohli did not score a hundred in the half-century with a hundred matches, Kohli has scored 3735 runs in 22 fifties.
