Awami League's publicity and publication secretary Hasan Mahmud remarked that BNP is a major obstacle in the path of democracy.
He made the remarks at a discussion at the National Press Club's conference lounge on Thursday, titled 'Sheikh Hasina for the development of Bangabandhu. The Bangladesh Independence Council organized this discussion.Hasan Mahmud said BNP has acted as a barrier to consolidate democracy. They (BNP) tried to create a special situation in the country by firing elections in 2014.Yet they want to create a special situation by creating chaos in the country.The Awami League leader criticized negative comments about the demand for the PM's election for the BNP leaders during this time.
