United Nations Secretary General Antoine Guterres has greeted Bangladesh for achieving the eligibility of developing countries from the LDCs.
He said this in a video message on the official Facebook page of the United Nations Development Program, which was conducted in Bangladesh on Thursday.The United Nations Secretary-General said in the video that I am very happy to have the ability of Bangladesh to migrate from LDC to developing countries. It clearly indicates that Bangladesh is working to establish an inclusive and incremental economy, including the pledge of release of poverty and hunger of millions of people.Antony Gutteras said, I applaud Bangladesh for success in promoting women empowerment and education.He said that crossing a developing country is a milestone for Bangladesh. For the establishment of Bangladesh as a middle-income country and implementing the sustainable development agenda 2030, it is extremely important for the perseverance, the strong national leadership and the prudent policies and activities.
