The Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has urged the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to open a gateway office in Bangladesh to make mutual cooperation more dynamic.
In the chairmanship of IDB President Bandhur H Hajjaj in the Plenary session of the 43rd Annual Conference on Wednesday, the Finance Minister made the call. At the time, he mentioned the delay in the release of donor agencies.In the IDB conference, ERD secretary Shafiqul Azam, member of Bangladesh delegation, was present.Finance Minister is currently in Tunisia's capital Tunis to attend the annual conference of the IDB.
