He said this on Wednesday at the 67th founding anniversary of the country's second seaport port Mongla.The President said that to compete with other advanced sea port in the world, mobility of the port will have to be mobilized. It has to be easy and cost effective.He urged the concerned officials to speed up the goods and facilitate the cargo handling, and ensure that the users can easily use the port.Pointing out that the waterways are very important for the expansion of the economy and expansion of the country, the President stressed the importance of keeping a sign of skill at every level of trade to survive global competition.He urged the people of Mongla Port Authority, Port Users, Qatams and other departments of the port to ensure mobility in the activities of the Golden Jubilee of Independence in 2021.Referring to the various development projects of the present government, Abdul Hamid said that the interest of the users in this port is increasing and the arrival of foreign ships has already increased.
