At least 70 people have been killed in military attacks in a religious gathering in the northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan.
More than 30 people were injured in the attack on Monday. Local officials confirmed the casualties. Taliban fighters gathered in the madrassa to meet themselves.Nasruddin Sadi said that in the religious gathering of the people, people were present in the mosque but security forces members attacked the presence of militants.On the other hand, Defense Ministry spokesman Mohammad Rammanis refused to attend religious work in the mosque. He said Taliban and other militant groups were planning to attack Afghan forces. But our forces have already known the plans of the militants. As a result, their plans have been foiled.He said 21 militants including one Taliban commander were killed in the attack by the helicopter. It was not a residential area. So this attack only killed terrorists and the Taliban. Because there they were active. There were no civilians in the area. But witnesses said several civilians including children were killed in the attack.
