Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for the release of everyone from various prevalent prejudices in the society regarding the birth of the disabled child.
She said this is not their fault. Allah created man in many ways. Dupe talent hides among children with disabilities and autism. We have to find out the talent and use it. They have the opportunity to develop their latent talent.Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the World Autism Awareness Day 2011,she said this as the chief guest. Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon presided over the function at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center.Urging the parents, guardians and teachers to take care of the child from time immemorial, to emphasize the importance of diagnosis and to take treatment, the Prime Minister said no child is autistic. Sometimes parents do not want to accept, do not treat. When the child is growing up, the problem confronts him.She cited many scientists in the world with disabilities and autism, and described the talent of the disabled and autism victims in Bangladesh as an example. Urging the people of the society to come forward with the help of disabled and autistic people, the Prime Minister said, those who have autism will not be neglected but they have to create their beautiful position in society.
