The theme of the day is 'Empowering women and girls, whether they are autism.' On this occasion, he conveyed his sincere regards to all the autistic people, children, adolescents, their families and the caretaker of the world including Bangladesh.
Disabled women and girls are deprived of work, environment and environmental benefits in education. The Prime Minister said, especially the disabled women and girls are in economic and social insecurity. We have taken social safety programs to involve women and girls with disabilities in the mainstream of society. In order to protect the rights of the disabled people, the 'Disability Rights and Protection Act, 2013' and the Neuro-Developmental Disability Protection Trust Act, 2013 have been enacted. He said that due to the adoption of these programs, there has been a change in the negative attitude of the society towards autistic children and the disabled.
