8 separatists have been killed in clashes with security forces in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir of India.
Two soldiers were also killed in the incident. Two other civilians were killed by security forces while firing in anti-militant operations. This incident took place in Anantnag and Sopian districts on Sunday.Police said that the security forces carried out operations in three places in south Kashmir on Saturday night. The raids were carried out on the basis of reports that the separatists had gathered to carry out terrorist attacks in those places. A separatist killed and another surrendered in Anantnag district. The other seven separatist gun fighters were killed in the dragon area of the Sopian district.
