So far 15,58,554 people have been identified in different types of disabled people across the country.
Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said that the work of creating the database of people with disabilities is ongoing.The minister said this on Monday at the press conference on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day.Rashid Khan Menon said that the light will be lit all over the country for three days from Monday to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. He said, 'The color of autism is blue'.The minister said, 'Blue lights will be lit in important installations like Bangabhaban, Prime Minister's office, Secretariat, for the next three days. It will be done in the whole country. The Department of Social Services and the National Disability Foundation will illuminate the blue lamp for 15 days. The Prime Minister will shine blue light tomorrow (Monday)'.
