The International Cricket Council (ICC) has reviewed the punishment of ball tampering. After the Australia team's ball-tampering in recent South Africa tour, the decision was taken by the Executive Board of World Cricket.
David Warner has been banned from international and domestic cricket for one year because of his third test ball temperament against South Africa, Cricket Australia (CA) said. Apart from this, the opening batsman has ban Cameron Bancroft for nine months.
According to the ICC regulations, the ICC can not ban any player for ball tampering and can not be banned for more than one match. But cricket Australia has punished more than three cricketer ICC Chief Executive Dave Richardson said, "We understand that not only Australia, the entire cricket world has taken seriously the issue of ball-tampering. This is the spirit of cricket. '
