Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged officials of the grassroots level departments to work honestly to implement the government's annual development project.
In a meeting with district officials of Thakurgaon Circuit House on Thursday, he said, "Our aim is to develop the country, and proper implementation of the annual development project to achieve this goal is very important''.During this time, the Prime Minister urged the people to create awareness about the common issues like terrorism, militancy and drugs, including teachers, guardians and religious leaders, as well as create opportunities for children to play physical and mental development.He said that the government has built at least one mini stadium in every upazila in order to facilitate youth sports and cultural activities. During the meeting with the Prime Minister, officials of various government organizations highlighted the progress of various government projects and the Deputy Commissioner. Akteruzzaman presented the history, heritage, resources and possibilities of the district at this time.
