In the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations beginning April 2, 13 lakh 11 thousand 457 students will participate.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said this at a press conference in the meeting of the Education Ministry on Wednesday. At this time senior officials of the education ministry including education secretary were present. Last year more than 1 lakh 27 thousand 771 people passed the examinations. Last year, 11,083 thousand 686 examinees took part in SSC and equivalent examinations. Now the total centers are 2,541, and 8 thousand 943 educational institutions.
Education Minister said that HSC and equivalent examinations will be started across the country from April 2. All the preparations of the exam have been completed. The question paper cover will be open 25 minutes before the beginning of the test to prevent leaks. The tests will continue till May 13. On April 1, due to the public holidays, one day after the test routine has been created.
