A delegation of BNP has held a meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal with permission from the public at Suhrawardy Udyan on March 29.
The meeting was held at the Secretariat office at the Secretariat office on Tuesday noon. Party's Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan led the BNP delegation. BNP vice chairman Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram and Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury were present in the meeting with him.In the meeting BNP leaders urged Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to allow peaceful rally in the capital's Suhrawardy Udyan on March 29. He promised to see the matter seriously. But BNP leaders hopeful about police permission.BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan told reporters at the end of the meeting, "We hope that the rally will be allowed in Suhrawardy Udyan." We are moving forward accordingly. '
