As per the compensation of the aircraft accident in Kathmandu, the US BANGALA Airlines will initially receive 41,72,000 dollars (34 crores 61 lakhs), said general insurance corporation.
Confirming the matter, General Insurance Corporation Managing Director Syed Shahriar Ahsan told the media that the money collected from foreign insurance companies will be given initially to US-Bangla only to cope with the loss of the aircraft.However, it is initially given to the company as compensation. He said he would be given more money later.Syed Ahsan also said that this arrangement was made directly from Overseas insurance companies. Step by step, the US Bangla Airlines will get more money.But the passengers are not compensated yet. We have to wait for the investigation report to be available.The crash of 71 passengers of the US-Bangladesh flight killed 50 people. Among them, 27 were Bangladeshi with four crew.
