The BNP has announced a three-day program on Savar Memorial Monument on the occasion of the Independence Day.
After the meeting at the BNP's central office in Nayapaltan on Saturday noon, party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the program.Among the programs announced by the BNP are: On 26 March, the national and party flag hoisting in the party office at 6:00 am and paying tribute to flowers at Savar Memorial at 9am Besides, senior leaders of the party will pay tribute to Ziaur Rahman's grave at 11am on that day. In addition to the 27 March Independence Proclamation and discussion on March 31.BNP secretary general said, BNP will release a supplement on March 26 on the occasion of Independence Day. Writing competition will be organized on the life of Ziaur Rahman. Besides, illumination will be done in the party's national office on the occasion of Independence Day.He said that senior leaders of BNP will conduct an organizational tour in all 78 districts of the country till April 20.
