India's National Security Adviser Ajit Daval is coming to Bangladesh to attend a high-level meeting of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) organized in Dhaka.
According to the Foreign Ministry sources, he will reach Dhaka on March 27 (Tuesday). He will take part in the BIMSTEC meeting on 28 March next day.In the meeting, Prime Minister's Defense and Security Adviser Major General (retired) Tarek Ahmed Siddiqui will be taking part in the meeting.Apart from Bangladesh and India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand will participate in the meeting.It is learned that in this meeting, the problem of Rohingya problem will be prominently. Apart from this, the issues of mutual contact between the Bay of Bengal region will also be important in meeting. The BIMSTEC meeting will try to create a common strategy for this area.
