Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that through the proper management of nature dependent water resources.
There will be visible progress in the medium-income and 2041 by becoming a developed prosperous country before 2041.He said this in a message given on Wednesday on the occasion of World Water Day on Wednesday. The theme of the day is 'Nature for Water'.
Expressing happiness over the fact that World Water Day is celebrated in Bangladesh as well as in other countries of the world, the Prime Minister said that public awareness of water use, waste and pollution will increase due to observing the Water Day.
In the message, Sheikh Hasina said that the Awami League government has set sustainable development targets for the development of water resources, which will ensure safe water for all by implementing by 2030 and protect natural environment and reduce water pollution.
He said, for the development of our activities, we have to rely on nature, environment and water. We have to continue the continuous development of our sustainable development by not interrupting the environment and nature.
