The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Accounting has urged Agrani Bank's audit objections to settle quickly.
In the committee meeting, the recommendation was made to make progress by earning unpaid money of the bank mentioned in the audit objection.
The meeting was held in the Parliament House on Wednesday. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir Committee member Mohammad Amanullah, Md. Rustam Ali Farazi, AFM Ruhul Haque, Shamsul Haque Took and Rebeka Momin and the concerned officials were present.
In the meeting, the audit objections were discussed in the light of the instructions given by the committee in consultation with the auditors of auditors and regulators on the Department of Bank and Financial Institutions (Agrani Bank Ltd). In the case of non-payment of money from the existing organization, the losses of the classified and expired loans were recommended for the payment of Tk. 81.11 crores 86 thousand 330 rupees.
