A BNP delegation has met with diplomats of different countries and organizations in Bangladesh.
The meeting was held at BNP's Chairperson's political office in Gulshan on Wednesday afternoon.BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hessen, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, among others. Moin Khan, Mirza Abbas, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo, Advisor Reaz Rahman, Sabih Uddin Ahmed, Ismail Hossain Zabiullah, Co-International Affairs Secretary Barrister Rumin Farhana, Executive Committee member Tabith Awal were also present.Foreign diplomats were present in the United States, Switzerland, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Australia, Turkey, Japan, the Netherlands, European Union, USAID representatives.Barrister Moudud Ahmed told the media after the meeting, "In the country where there is no democracy, the country's development is completely meaningless in the country. This will not help the people. There is no democracy in the country today, people have no right to speak. But the development is in the developing countries. In fact, the development of this country is meaningless. True development is not possible without democracy''.
