The Israeli army officially acknowledged the responsibility of destroying a suspected nuclear reactor in 2007 by air strikes.
After the censorship of more than 10 years of publication of the operation, the country's army claimed this responsibility Wednesday.It said that a major threat to Israel and the region was removed by the attack on the East Deir-al-Jaw region.
The statement said that the nuclear reactor was in the final phase of construction.
It has long been suspected that Israel has carried out this attack. However, Tel Aviv has never opened the issue. In addition, Syria has never acknowledged the construction of nuclear reactors in the site of the bombing.
The International Atomic Energy Agency in the past had reported that the Syrian establishment was like many nuclear reactors. Perhaps it was being built in cooperation with North Korea.
