The policy was approved in the cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday. The meeting was held in the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam told the decision at a press conference at the end of the meeting.
The Secretary said that the details of how the armed forces will be deployed in war, military and civilian relations, what will be the relationship between the armed forces and the citizens, the capacity of defense or the basic capacity of the armed forces. In this policy, the National Committee on Security and the Security Council will be the basis of how it will be.
