Prime Minister's adviser H. T. Imam said, people of all religions now enjoy religious freedom in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is going forward with the sincere cooperation of the people of all religions under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. That is why Bangladesh has been promoted from LDCs to developing countries.The Prime Minister's advisor said this while addressing a day-long international seminar titled "Buddhism, Civilization and Culture" at Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, Dhaka University.The Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Dhaka University organized the seminar.University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Chairman of Bangladesh University Grants Commission Professor Abdul Mannan and President of Bangladesh Buddhist Kirti Pramyanga Sangha Sangskant Sukshandhanda Mahathero were present as special guests at the inauguration ceremony of Akhteruzzaman President.
