Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the guardians, teachers and religious leaders to reinforce her position against terrorism, militancy and drugs and to make children aware about these abuses.
The Prime Minister said, 'Where do you go from our children to young people, how to mix with whom, specially look at them. Do not let anyone be involved in terrorism, militancy, drug abuse. They should get a healthy life. And parents have to take steps to settle peacefully with their parents, siblings'.She said, "I especially request everyone to look at any boy who does not go wrong''.In this regard, Sheikh Hasina said this at noon, at Tungipara, the 99th birthday of the Father of the Nation and the children's gathering organized on the occasion of National Children's Day, discussion meeting and cultural program.The program was held at the Father of the Nation's Complex in the initiative of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and with the assistance of Bangladesh Shishu Academy and Gopalganj District Administration.State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki spoke on the occasion as special guest. Arafat Hossain, third grade student of SM Government Model Primary School of Gopalganj, presided over the function.
