Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the future leadership of the country to dedicate the present to the welfare of the children and to make all the people of Bangladesh a nation of non-communal, hunger-free and poverty-free and happy-rich dream of Bangladesh.
She said, 'Come, dedicate our present to the country's future leadership for the welfare of the children. Together, all the people of the Father of the Nation created a golden country of non-communal, hunger-poverty-free and happy-rich dream. This is our commitment today. 'He said this in a message given on the occasion of Bangabandhu's 99th birthday and National Children's Day. In the message he conveyed his deep respect to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his heartfelt greetings to the countrymen including all children of the country.
The Prime Minister said the government is committed to making the Motherland a safe homeland for the children. A national child policy has been formulated for the welfare of the children. Students are provided free textbooks at the beginning of the year. Almost 100 percent children are going to school.She said, 'We have published the book of life of the Father of the Nation and works book based on children and added true history of liberation war in textbooks. In order to create patriotism in the mind of children, to build their personality, to develop creativity and build confidence, they will have to work together in a consistent way. They have to tell the real history of struggling life of their father and father.
The Prime Minister said her father's compassion was immense on children, so her birthday was declared as 'National Children's Day' by offering sacrifice to children.She seeks the glorious future of Father of the Nation of the Father of the Nation and the bright future of the children of the future.
