New initiatives have been taken to bring transparency in the appointment of the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
To make the organization's recruitment transparent and simplified, the recruitment process will be done through the digital process. In the same context, the NBR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with another state-run telephon.
On Thursday, an online process called online recruitment system was inaugurated in the NBR office. Teletalk Bangladesh Limited will be the online partner of NBR.Senior Secretary of the Department of Internal Resources and NBR Chairperson Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan was the chief guest at the signing ceremony. Teletalk was the managing director of the company Kazi Md. NBR top officials including Golam Kuddus.
At the program, the NBR chairman said, there are specific guidelines for recruitment but in many cases it is not accepted. There are irregularities in the recruitment process at different times. NBR organized this to eliminate these irregularities.
