Six members of the paramilitary patrol in Chhattisgarh's state of Maoist rebels have been killed.
Officials of the country said this on Tuesday.A spokesman for India's Central Reserve Police Force said that three Maoist attackers were injured in remote jungle areas. They were taken to the state capital Raipur for treatment.
Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said that the attack was very tragic and prompted the wounded to heal faster.
For the last several decades, Maoist insurgents have been struggling to provide land, employment and other demands for the poor tribals of the state. Till now thousands of people have been called for their rebellion.
