The court has fixed July 27 as the next date of hearing of two cases of corruption filed against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Judge of Special Judge Court-5 of Dhaka's temporary Dhaka-based Parade Division held at Bakshibazar, Old Dhaka on Monday. Md. Akhtaruzzaman granted the application on the bail plea to fix the day.On Monday, the lawyer of the first investigation officer of the case, ACC Deputy Director Nur Ahmed, asked Khaleda Zia for her lawyer Abdur Rezzak Khan. But he did not end the cross-examination.Later, hearings on the bail application of Khaleda Zia were heard. On July 20, the ACC public prosecutor Mosharraf Hossain Kajol filed the petition.
