Export is being interrupted due to tariff complications

Exports of Bangladesh due to the customs duties are being interrupted in many areas.The minister said this while talking to the Secretary-General of the World Customs Organization, Konieo Micuriya, who visited Bangladesh in the office room of the Secretariat on Monday.He said the big hurdles for the high taxation of different countries, new taxation imposed on the new name, is a major barrier to export. The World Customs Organization can play a role in this case.The minister said, according to the World Trade Organization's decision, the countries of developed countries are offering duty and quota free trade facilities to LDC countries, but many developed countries are not giving them the benefit.He said, with the World Customs Organization initiative, eliminating the ongoing complexities of the customs sector, export of Bangladeshi goods in the developed world will be increased. Due to the taxation of different names, many countries in the world are being obstructed in the export of Bangladeshi products.Tofail Ahmed said that Bangladesh is moving ahead with the efficiency of world export trade, "Bangladesh exported goods worth $ 34.836 billion in last fiscal year. In 2021, the amount of exports reached 60 billion US dollars. Bangladesh's export products and markets are expanding''.
