Recommend to accelerate the judicial recruitment process

This recommendation was made at the 37th meeting of the committee held at the Parliament House on Monday. Chairman of the committee Abdul Matin Khasru presided over the meeting.Committee member Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque, Md.Tajul Islam Chowdhury, Sahara Khatun, Sufura Begum and Amatul Kibria Kia Chowdhury attended the meeting. Besides, Senior Secretaries of Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs and Secretaries of Law and Justice Department were also present in the meeting and concerned senior officials of the National Parliament Secretariat were present.In the meeting, the functions of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, digitization of the overall functioning of the judiciary and discussion of the conversion of service to GP and PP's office of the lower court, including the attorney general office.In the meeting, the Supreme Court advised to provide secretarial assistance to the Law Ministry to investigate the allegations against the lower court for highlighting the image of the judiciary.
