Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Branch (DB) has detained the secretary general of Islami Unit, Mufti Faizullah and vice-president Junaid Ahmed.
They were arrested on Sunday afternoon after the procession in Baitul Mukarram mosque area.The organization's publicity secretary Abdullah Al Wassel told: "There was a pre-arranged procession program at the Baitul Mukarram Mosque area on Sunday at 5 pm on Sunday. The procession ended in Baitul Mukarram Mosque and Paltan. Detective police detained two leaders.But no one responsible for the police agreed to comment on this''.
