Lack of skilled manpower is showing a lack

There is a lack of skills in the job market demand. Especially in the agro-processing sector, the lack of skilled manpower is becoming very prominent. There is also a ready-made garment sector.These data came out in the survey report titled 'Lack of expertise in Bangladesh's labor market'.Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith unveiled the report prepared by BIDS in the meeting held on Sunday. At the Prime Minister's Office, Chief Coordinator of SDG, Abul Kalam Azad, Senior Secretary of the Department of Finance Hedayetullah Al Mamun, BIDS Director General KAS Murshid and other senior officials were present.It has been said in the report that Agro-processing sector can play an important role in the economy. However, lack of skilled workers is currently 76 percent of the requirement in this sector. Among them, the lack of skilled officers is 77 percent, the lack of semi-official officer is 75 percent and there is a lack of inefficient workers.
