Youth and Sports Minister said that it is possible to eradicate militancy from the country by engaging the country's youth in development activities.
Mr.Biren Sikder said this while addressing the youth gathering organized at the National Sports Council (NSC Tower) auditorium on Saturday.Sheikh Hasina organized the youth rally at National Youth Center.He said youths have played an important role in every movement and achievement of this country. So the youth must show the right path. They will prevent militancy from the right path and will bring the country to the peak of progress.So everyone calls on everyone to come forward to create public awareness against militancy, he said.Deputy Commissioner of Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy and Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports spoke on the occasion. Asadul Islam Presided over by Director General of Youth Development Department Anwarul Karim, the President of National Youth Center, Morshed Uddin Ahmed delivered the welcome speech.
