Leather products in Bangladesh are increasing day by day as well as leather in the world market.

Besides, Bangladesh has also established international quality leather products company. However, the country's export earnings are still largely dependent on the clothing industry. So, the government has planned to encourage product-based exports to bring diversity. As part of this, leather goods like leather and padukas are going to get bond benefits like clothes.According to the Ministry of Commerce, the plans that have been made around leather products including leather and padukas are among the policy help in achieving $ 500 million income from the sector by 2021. Apart from this, providing cash assistance at the rate of 5 percent of the minimum five years in the crust and finned leather exported from Savar and the development of leather sector. Apart from this, there are also plans to create Split Leather's HS Code and to release leather-exported goods and export consignments within 72 hours.In the work plan, more like ready-made garments, allowing the movement of leather goods from covered leather van to the internal container terminal (ICD). There is also a plan to include leather products from orange to green classes, leather and footwear, and to participate actively in various international fairs and conferences.In the garment industry, there is a chance to use other factories within 60 kilometers of the same owner's raw materials brought to the bond facility. But in other industries, this facility is not effective. Therefore, the leather industry has been planned to include the continuation or expansion of existing bond facility similar to garments industry.
