The budget of Bhola municipality has been announced for the budget of Tk 304.94 crore.
Without imposing any new tax, municipal mayor Mohammad Moniruzzaman Monir officially announced the huge budget in the municipality's hallroom on Thursday night.During this time, people of different levels including dignitaries, municipal councilors and government officials were present.In the budget of 2017-18 fiscal year, revenue income was 19.61 million and Taka 284.15 crore in the development sector and the expenditure was 284.16 million taka.Among the development projects in the coastal city, 157 crore 80 million taka for coastal city, 50 million of MIF, 29 million of BMDF, infrastructure development and master plan project cost Tk 27 crore.
