With the introduction of new SID system, verification of identity verification will be done in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet airports and Chittagong, Mongla and Piara seaports. Verification through smart phones, portable verification system will create opportunities to verify cards from anywhere, including ship or port area. SID cards of overseas sailors can be verified in places outside the country''.
