Rwanda wants to import Bangladeshi drug textile products

In the meeting with Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed in the Secretariat on Thursday, Rwanda non-resident ambassador Ernest Ruimachao also expressed his interest. Commerce Secretary Shuvashish Basu was also present.Commerce Minister said, Bangladesh is working to expand export trade. Special initiative has been taken to expand the market. Demand for ready-made garments, medicine, technology products, furniture and bakery in Bangladesh is increasing day by day. Bangladesh is exporting these world-class products at a comparatively low price.In view of the interest expressed by the Rwandan ambassador, the garments, pharmaceuticals and jute goods imported from Bangladesh, the commerce minister said, in this case the businessmen of both the countries should come forward. Imports and exporters of both countries will take effective steps through mutual visits. The Bangladesh government will provide all necessary assistance.Rwanda ambassador said, Bangladesh is fast moving forward. Bangladesh made products are quite popular in the world market. There is a lot of demand for ready made garments, pharmaceuticals and jute goods in Bangladesh in Rwanda. The price is relatively low. Rwanda government has decided to import these products from Bangladesh. If Bangladesh Government cooperates on this matter, then these products will be imported quickly.
