BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has demanded amendment to the constitution if necessary to overcome the political crisis.
He said the political crisis in the country is going on. It must be resolved politically. The constitution should be amended if necessary for the crisis to be passed. Through this, a free and fair election will be arranged.He said this at the opening ceremony of BNP's membership and renewal program at a hotel in Khulna on Wednesday noon. Khulna district BNP organized the program.Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir reiterated the demand of the supportive government during the election, said Awami League is making an organized election. The government and the Election Commission have to be forced to make the next election assistant government. All political parties must function properly before the election under the government.
