The leaders of the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and the Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) said that the statement made by the information ministry on Wednesday.
About the formation of the 9th Wageboard is not acceptable to journalists.BFUJ President Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Secretary General Omar Faruque and DUJ President Shaban Mahmud and General Secretary Sohel Haider Chowdhury said in a statement on Wednesday.They said in the statement that due to the unwillingness of any person, the journalist society can not be deprived of rights for years. There is nothing new in the statement mentioned in the information ministry statement. So, the July 30th program will continue and if we did not announce the wageboard by July 29, more stringent programs would be given from this program.
