Revised budget before the scheduled time:Finance Minister

Before the scheduled time, he is thinking of presenting the revised budget in parliament.Usually, in the first week of June, the revised budget for the current fiscal year is presented before the budget of the new fiscal year. But this will be the disadvantage of this rule in current fiscal year budget.Apart from this, Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has said that the decision to not personally participate in the next election is yet to be resolved. However, he said he will take part in the election if the decision is made from the party.The minister said this while talking to journalists at the Secretariat.The Finance Minister said, due to the suspension of Value Added Tax (VAT) Act for two years, there will be many problems in revenue collection. To overcome this problem, allocation of different sectors will be changed keeping the budget size of the current fiscal year fixed. And the budget will be fixed before the appointed time. He said VAT can play a very helpful role in the revenue collection.
