State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid gave instructions to the General Manager (GM) of the Rural Electricity to remove power lines from the house.
He gave this order in the speech of the chief guest at the conference of General Manager of Rural Electricity at Palli Bidyut Bhaban in Khilkhetastha on Saturday.Emphasizing on ensuring that the customers receive uninterrupted power, Nasrul Hamid said, customers should provide quick industrial connections in addition to reaching the power connections at the time of increasing customer service and changing the visibility of customer service and providing 24 hours of service.The State Minister said, the country is fast moving towards middle income today. Work on the basis of teamwork is possible to achieve success.He said that the transformer should be set up in the underground building. He said that the maintenance of the transformer should be strengthened. To save the place, he instructed the rural power companies around the capital to use 33 KV underground cable and sub station.The state minister said, corruption has become much less in connection with the connection but it did not end. He also urged for greater transparency in providing customer connectivity.In future, the initiative will be taken to use a pre-paid meter.
