BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu urged the government to convene an all-party meeting to deal with floods.
He said this at a human chain in front of the National Press Club on Saturday noon. Nationalist Generation 71 Central Committee organizes the human chain to demand the release of leaders and activists of BNP Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu and chairperson's advisor Joynal Abedin Faruq.He said, "After the haor defect and mountain collapses, the northern and southern regions of the country flooded the flood. People suffering from floods are not getting enough relief. The Awami League party people looting those things which are going on. The first step towards protecting the flooded people may be the all-party meeting. Let us stand beside the people in the flood, irrespective of their status.Shamsuzzaman Dudu said, "The new horizon will be exposed in the country through the next election''. Before the election BNP wants to bring democracy back to the country. If the government fail to do that, then the BNP will choose the movement. That movement will be worse than any other movement that has started in 71 countries.
