If the 21-point demand is not met, the vessel will start the work-break from 24 July.
The Bangladesh Shipping Workers Federation (BSF) said that the workshop was canceled after a press conference at the National Press Club on Saturday.Federation General Secretary Chowdhury Ashiqul Alam said, "We have identified 21 related issues for urgent resolution, including all the ministries and departments including the Department of Shipping and the Prime Minister and all concerned including the administration. On July 9, through the Deputy Commissioner and Upazila Nirbahi Officer and on 12th July, we gave our request to the Prime Minister directly through the memorandum''.He said, 'We believe that on July 23, the government and the concerned authorities are going to solve the issues related to the establishment of fuel oil vessels and solve the problem of workers, internal eight vessel workers in the Indian jail and the release of eight eight sailors in Bangladesh prison, according to the issues mentioned in the 21st Century resolved on the basis of discussion. Take effective measures to be relieved''.
