British Navy's warship HMS Middleton reached Doha to take part in joint exercises with the Qatar Navy.
The Qatar Ministry of Defense said that the British Royal Navy joint exercise with Qatar Amiri Navy will be held in the watershed of Dohar.The ministry said the joint naval exercise of the two countries has been organized as part of the fight against terrorism including stability and security of the region. According to the Bilateral Defense Cooperation Agreement, the Qatar Navy will conduct the exercise with the British Royal Navy.Meanwhile, the French Foreign Minister reached Doha on a two-day tour to ease regional diplomatic tensions.Meanwhile, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Lee Darin reached Doha on Saturday for a two-day visit to Qatar to ease diplomatic tensions with regional neighbors. She will hold a meeting with Qatar Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Saturday. He will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates in Qatar after the meeting.
