BNP leader Abdullah Al Noman has alleged that the government is not thinking about flood victims in different areas of the country.
The vice chairman of the party has alleged that the government is looting in the name of providing relief to the flood-hit areas.On Friday, the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) said at a discussion meeting in the 'Sagar-Rooney auditorium'.The organization 'Bangladesh Youth Forum' organizes this meeting titled 'Bangladesh in the face of murder, torture, disappearance of the country: Where is the path to liberation'.Abdullah Al Noman said that the areas of the country including the haor and northern areas are flooding the flood. The country is going on twelve hours, but the government does not think about flooding. The government says there is no shortage of rice stocks in the country, whereas flood victims are suffering from dire food crisis, they are not getting relief. Awami League leaders and workers are sharing the distribution of food items in the affected areas.The BNP's top leader said that the government is not thinking about flood victims because they are not elected by the people's vote.Noman criticized 'police barriers' at the domestic discussion meeting of political leaders at the house of JSD president ASSM RAB.
