The tribunal has fixed September 10 as the date of hearing of the case against the cricketer Arafat Sunny filed in the Information Technology Act.
The case was fixed Thursday for hearing on the charge-sheet. However, on Sunday, the senior lawyer of the accused Kazi Najibullah Hiru was asked to apply for time to get back the hearing. After the hearing, the Bangladesh Cyber Tribunal judge Saiful Islam fixed the date for hearing on September 10 to decide on the formation of the complaint.Earlier on March 22, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Sub-Inspector filed the chargesheet in the CMM court. Yahya The case was then sent to the cyber-crime tribunal from the CMM court for trial. The investigation officer mentioned that Nasrin Sultana was married to Arafat Sunny.
